Cornish is used in many official ways, but not to any great extent. The first example people usually get is the sign at many of the border crossings which show 'Kernow' as well as 'Cornwall'. Then there are place signs saying 'Truru a'gas' dynnargh' or 'Truro welcomes you'. Then some shops have some signs in Cornish. The most recent example was ASDA, who in October 2002 very publicly announced they were putting up some customer service signs in Cornish.

Mary Ellis and Pol Hodge from the Fellowship launch the new signs.
