Krena plays in Ireland

Krena played the PanCeltic Festival in Ireland on Thursday 31st March 2005. Our song 'Fordh dhe Dalvann' was victorious against Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and the Isle of Man.

Our song (written by Matthew Clarke) was called "Road to Tolvaddon" in English, and describes the area before regeneration started.

The area mentioned in one verse as 'Crofti Gogledh' (North Crofty) is now Tuckingmill Valley Country Park, and the empty field for development with just a sign and no offices, is now Tolvaddon Energy Park.

We followed the contest with an hour long gig at Cornish-Breton night. Friday night saw us gigging in McDade's Bar in Tralee.

We played again in Ireland in March 2007. This time we came 6th out of 6. Never mind... you cannot win them all.
